Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator
April is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator. She is a former litigation shareholder with strong oral advocacy skills and a record of resolving litigation disputes. April enjoyed litigation and working with clients to develop and implement litigation strategies. Nonetheless, she dedicated her law practice to conflict resolution and alternative dispute resolution exclusively in 2018.
As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit (Civil) and Appellate Mediator and Certified U.S. District Court Mediator for the Middle District of Florida, April is also trained in Elder Law Mediation and Shared Family Decision-Making Mediation. While she is a Florida Qualified Arbitrator, April dedicates her practice to bringing parties together to resolve their own disputes in mediation. She has advanced negotiation training from Harvard Law School’s Negotiation Institute and Program on Negotiation. April is a member of the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, and she routinely mediates matters pending in these courts.
April’s clients welcome her pragmatism, perception, optimism, energy, and tenacity in working with them to resolve their conflicts. She brings significant state and federal court experience, advanced mediation training, and exceptional interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for conflict resolution to her ADR practice.
